2ND GRADE FIRST COMMUNION PREPARATION: We have by now begun the study of First Eucharist. As we prepare your child for this Sacrament, we would like to invite all second grade First Communion students to attend our 9 a.m. Mass on Sunday mornings. Here our teachings will be enforced, as these Masses will help the children realize that they belong to the Christian community because you, their parents presented them for Baptism in the church. It will also help you, the parents, realize the central role you assumed when presenting your children for Baptism and which you are now renewing by presenting them for Eucharist. The theme for Sunday, March 8th is: "The Eucharist is about Belonging".
STATIONS OF THE CROSS: Please join our neighbors at our Lady of the Rosary Church in the Traditional Stations of the Cross, which will begin at Our Lady of the Rosary Church on Friday, February 27th, and continue there throughout Lent. A special Living Stations will be presented by students from Notre Dame High School on April 3rd. Stations begin at 7 p.m. This year's theme is "Jesus' Way of the Cross through the eyes of Mary".
