ST. MARY'S HOSTS PANEL DISCUSSION AND RECEPTION: On Sunday, August 16, from 2-4 p.m., St. Mary's of the Lake will host a panel discussion designed around the stories that are depicted in the church's stained glass windows. Not only do the windows depict spiritual events related to the life of Jesus Christ, they also tell a story about the individuals and families who donated them in 1926 and the German company that designed and created them. St. Mary's Father Tom McGrath, local historian and judge Charlie Major and artist Jerome Durr will facilitate learning about the background of the windows.
