| Paul and Mary Ryfun
|
Paul and Mary Ryfun of Minoa celebrated their 60th anniversary with a surprise party at St. Joseph the Worker Church in Liverpool given by their wonderful friends in the deaf community. They were very surprised. They were married at Our Lady of Pompei Church in Syracuse on Saturday, Oct. 22, 1949. Paul attended the Rome School for the Deaf and is a retired plater. Mary attended the Rochester School for the Deaf and is a retired seamstress. Their deafness brought them to find one another in love and to have a wonderful life with many very special deaf friends. Paul and Mary enjoy spending time with their friends and family, occasionally going to the casino and communicating with their deaf friends and family on their videophone. Their son Paul Jr., daughter-in-law Peggy of Kirkville, N.Y. and their two granddaughters Stacey D’Angelo of Denver, Co. and Laura Ryfun of Rochester N.Y. and friends and family are very proud of them. Paul and Mary have truly been blessed. |
