 Ken and Betty (Alder) Allen of Oneida recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. They were married April 23, 1960 at St. Patrick’s Church in Oneida.
The couple has five daughters, Barbara Allen, Oneida, Susan and Kenneth Spink, Endwell, Donna and Roger Moreland, Baldwinsville, Judy and Francis Mangiacapra Vestal, and Mary and Craig Anderson, Middletown, DE. They have been blessed with six grandchildren.
To celebrate the milestone, the couple renewed their wedding vows at Mass April 24, 2010 and were honored at a dinner party hosted by their family at the Lakeview Restaurant in Oneida. |

|
 Angelo and Lucy Simone of Utica are celebrating their 69th wedding anniversary. Father Maurice Moriarity at St. Anthony’s Church in Utica married Angelo and the former Lucy Spiridilozzi Jan. 25, 1941.
The couple has five daughters — Annette and Frank Sica of Baldwinsville, Kathy and John Russo of Utica, Marlene and Bob Conway of Utica, Helen and Jim Taurisano of Utica and Joe and Mary Jerzak of Sauquoit. They have 31 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren.
Angelo is retired from Kelsey Hayes in Whitesboro as a foreman/machinist. Lucy is still enjoying being a mother, grandmother and great grandmother to her family. Mom and Dad — We, your daughters, are who we are because of your faith in God, which has been given to us as a gift of your love. We love and cherish you both from the bottom of our hearts.

Anthony and Sue Ellen Miller of Binghamton are celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary. They were married at the Church of the Blessed Sacrament, in Johnson City on April 27, 1985. Msgr. James Kane officiated.
They have two daughters and one son-in-law, Elizabeth and Ethan Mellen and Mary Miller all of Binghamton. Anthony works for New York State and Sue Ellen works for ACHIEVE. They will be celebrating their anniversary on a cruise to Nassau, the Bahamas, where they spent their honeymoon. |

The children of Joe and Joan (Zeszotarski) McGuigan happily announce their  parents 50th Wedding Anniversary. The couple married in Scranton, Pa. on Feb. 6, 1960 and raised their family in Johnson City. They have been blessed with five children and 10 grandchildren. They currently reside in Homosassa, Fla. and are enjoying their retirement traveling and doing volunteer work. |

Joseph and Pauline Pfeifer celebrated their 15th wedding anniversary  on Thanksgiving Day. They were married on Nov. 26, 1994 at Holy Family Parish by Father Richard Thompson. They are blessed with the presence of four children and two grandchildren in their lives as well as many members of their extended family who are so happy to see them achieve this milestone. They are planning to celebrate with a get-away weekend. |
