| Ann and Donald Vogt
Ann and Donald Vogt of Sandy Creek celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on May 7, 2010. They participated in First Friday Mass in Christ Our Light Church in Pulaski, thanking God through the Sacred Heart of Jesus for their mutual love and many graces they received in the past. The Vogts were married in 1960 at St. Paul Catholic Church in Oswego by Father William Jones. What is a recipe for a long and happy marriage? Their answer is: a good preparation! They appreciated having Pre-Cana marriage preparation 50 years ago. It helped them to live a Catholic life and express common love in their married life. They also mentioned that giving not 50 percent but 100 percent of your love, time and effort to your spouse brings a successful marriage. Congratulations and ad multos annos! — Father Jozef Mucha |

| Paul and Carol (Aylesworth) Wojcikowski
Paul and Carol (Aylesworth) Wojcikowski will celebrate 47 years of marriage on May 11. We were married in Most Holy Rosary Church in Syracuse by the late Father Charles Aylesworth, Carol’s uncle. We have four great children who assist us in our senior life: Elizabeth (Hal) Milligan; Robert (Gloria) Wojcikowski; Michael (Amy) Wojcikowski and Thomas (Michelle) Wojcikowski. We are blessed with 10 grandchildren: Kaci, Abby and Mallory Milligan; Jennifer Howell (step-granddaughter); Stephanie Wojcikowski; Ian and Aiden Wojcikowski and Konrad, Jordis and Brodie Wojcikowski. Paul retired in 1999 after 44 years of service with Carrier Corporation. Carol left Niagara Mohawk Power Company after the birth of Elizabeth (leap year baby) and devoted her time to taking care or our children. We enjoy watching Syracuse University and the Notre Dame fighting Irish sports. We also enjoy watching our grand kids participate in sporting events. We are currently members of St. Daniel Parish in Syracuse. |
