| Carl and Joanne Smith celebrated 50 years of marriage Dec. 31, 2010. They exchanged their wedding vows at Sacred Heart Church in Auburn with Father Raymond J. Wahl as celebrant on Dec. 31, 1960.
Joanne is the daughter of Ernest and Alexandrina (Hodorowski) Smeaton and Carl is the son of Carl and Ethel (Ridley) Smith, Sr.
They have two sons, C. Stanley Smith III (Kelly) and Douglas J. Smith (Kimberly), three grandchildren: Carl S. Smith IV, Heather Bryant (Stephen) and Valery Smith. They have one great granddaughter, Madison Grace Bryant.
Carl was employed by the NYS Department of Corrections for 37 years, holding several positions including Superintendent of Marcy Correctional Facility and Assistant Commissioner for Facility Operations in Albany, N.Y., retiring in 1997.
Joanne is a skilled homemaker as they moved seven times. They made many friends and enjoyed traveling. Upon retirement, they moved to Skaneateles to be near their family and spend the winter months in Englewood, Fla. They are communicants of St. Mary of the Lake in Skaneateles and St. Raphael’s in Englewood, Fla.

| Angelo and Lucy Spiridilozzi Simone

| It is with great pride, gratitude and overwhelming joy that we announce the 70th wedding anniversary of Angelo and Lucy Spiridilozzi Simone.
Angelo and Lucy were married Jan. 25, 1941 by Father Moaraity at St. Anthony of Padua Church; Utica. Angelo, a World War II veteran, retired as a foreman/machinist from Kelsey Hayes in Whitesboro, N.Y.
Together, they raised five beautiful daughters: Annette Sica, Kathleen Russo, Marlene Conway, Helen Ann Taurisano and Mary Therese Jerzak. They also boast five sons-in-law: Frank Sica, John Russo, Robert Conway, the late James Taurisano, and Joseph Jerzak. Angelo and Lucy have set a wonderful example for their children of what it takes to build a wonderful marriage and make a house a home.

John & Marie (Boyea) Morehouse of Baldwinsville celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on July 8th. They were married July 8th 1950 @ St. Patrick's Church in Chateaugay NY. by Father Gallager. They have 4 children Linda McArdell((Jerry), Bruce Morehouse(Darlene), Gail DeGroff and Lisa Laffin(David). They also have 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. John is still working in Sales at Gallahger Tire and Marie is still at home enjoying her family. |

Oct. 4 marks the 52nd anniversary of the marriage of Sandra Leeret, daughter of George and Elizabeth Leeret to John Crotty, son of Bartholomew and Helen Crotty at Holy Cross Church in DeWitt by Father Joseph Ritchie. They are currently parishioners of St. Matthew Church in East Syracuse. Their family includes Sharon L. Williams, sister and aunt to all, Jackie Steiger and children Sean, Kristen and Jason, Tim & Kyle Crotty and children Brenden and Zachary, Cheryl Crotty, Elizabeth and Stacy Griffith and children Nathan, Julia and Jack. “You have the love and support of us all.” |

Carl and Sally Tartaglia celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary. They were married Oct. 10, 1970 at Our Lady of Pompei Church in Syracuse. They are the parents of Suzanne (Steve) Hunding, Matthew Tartaglia, the late Michael Tartaglia and the late Mary Elizabeth Tartaglia. They have five grandchildren: Kristina, Madison, Michael, Alicia and Olivia Hunding. Carl is a retired accountant from Carrier Corporation. Sally worked as a bookkeeper for Acme Markets prior to staying home and raising their family. “Happy 40th anniversary mom and dad, grandpa and grandma. We are blessed and fortunate to have parents/ grandparents like you. Thanks for your years of love and support. We love you very much and wish you many more years together.
