Peter and Mary (Zunner) Luber of Jamesville, celebrated their 75th wedding anniversary on Sept. 16, 2011 at a dinner with their family. The Lubers were married on Sept. 16, 1933, at All Saints Church in Buffalo. Their family includes sons Raymond, Robert and David, all of Syracuse, and daughter Diane Krupka, of San Antonio, Texas, as well as 12 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. Peter retired from the Buffalo Evening News in 1974. Peter and Mary returned to New York after 23 years in Cape Coral, Fla., where they enjoyed sailing, tennis and traveling. They currently enjoy their home and friends at the Nottingham as well as time spent with their family. |

| Joseph and Barbara (Klonowski) Casper
|
| Joseph and Barbara (Klonowski) Casper of Baldwinsville, celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on June 11. Their celebration began with a Mass at the chapel of St. Mary’s Assumption Church in Baldwinsville. There was a reception following the Mass, organized by their children.
Joseph and Barbara were married at Holy Family Church in Auburn, N.Y. on June 9, 1951. Together they raised four children: Theresa, married to Anthony Fulgieri of Geneva, N.Y.; Barbara, married to Patrick Canale of Jamesville; Joseph, married to Amy (Ramsgard) of Baldwinsville; and James, married to Faith (DeSain) of Austin, Texas. Joseph and Barbara have 11 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
Joseph graduated from the University of Detroit in 1958 with an electrical engineering degree after a four-year tour with the navy. He was employed by General Electric from 1958 until his retirement in 1990. During that time they lived on Kwajalein, a remote island in the South Pacific, where he installed a radar system, and later lived in Scotland, U.K. for two years supporting the R.A.F.
The Caspers have traveled extensively both internationally and in the states. They made religious pilgrimages to the Holy Land, Ephesus, Fatima, Lourdes, Medjugorje, Knock, and many other sites where saints have been laid to rest, including St. James Tomb in Compostella, Spain. They continue to make yearly pilgrimages to visit the Canadian shrines: Saint Joseph’s Oratory in Montreal, Saint Anne de Beaupre Basilica in Quebec and Madeleine of the Cape at Three Rivers.
Joe is an avid fisherman, hunter and gardener. Barbara taught religious education for many years and together they are active in their parish community.

| Richard Farmer and Gail Somerville Farmer were married June 10, 1961 at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Whitesboro by Father John Quinn.
Dick was a banker in the Utica area for 32 years. Gail was a teacher’s aide at their parish school for 13 years.

Joan (Bevacqua) and Dr. Armand Cincotta of Jamesville celebrated their 50th anniversary on Dec. 31, 2010. Both are natives of Fulton and were parishioners of Immaculate Conception Church. Joan is the daughter of the late Frank Bevacqua and Ruth Aluzzi. Armand is the son of the late Theresa and Dr. Anthony Cincotta. The couple was married at St. Stephen’s Church in Phoenix, N.Y. by Father W.J. Shanahan. They have been parishioners of Holy Cross Church, DeWitt, for 37 years with spiritual guidance from Msgr. Robert Yeazel in recent years.

Anthony and Teresa (Costanzo) Schiro celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Sunday, Oct. 10 at the 11:30 a.m. Mass at St. Mary’s Church, Baldwinsville. The couple was married in Bridgeport, CT on Oct. 7, 1950. They have two daughters and sons-in-law: Christina and James Kimak, and Carol Schiro and Michael Pellegrino. Teresa and Anthony have eight grandchildren: the Kimaks: Stacey and her husband, John Cloutier; Dianne and husband, Steve Phelan; David, Matthew and Stephen Kimak; and Jeremy, Emily, and Katherine Pellegrino. They also have a precious great-grandson, Charlie Phelan, who is nine months old. Teresa and Anthony have been active parishioners at St. Mary’s for 50 years. Teresa was active in the Altar and Rosary Society; she led the rosary at novena for many years, as well as serving the youth as a religious education teacher. Anthony still serves as Eucharistic minister and also still teaches fifth grade religious education. He is also a member of the Legion of Mary. A luncheon which was hosted by their daughters was held after Mass for family and friends. |
